Professionalism

Maintain a professional attitude during all activities: hacking, workshops, networking, and social events.

Use appropriate language and avoid offensive, discriminatory, or harmful remarks.

Respect venue staff, volunteers, mentors, judges, and fellow participants.


Collaboration and Fair Play

Teams must consist of participants officially registered for HackSpire 2025.

Plagiarism or presenting someone else’s work as your own is strictly prohibited.

Open-source tools and libraries are encouraged, but proper attribution is required.

Collaboration is welcome, but ensure fairness during project submission and judging.


Safety and Well-being

Do not engage in disruptive behavior, including excessive noise, vandalism, or unsafe practices.

Alcohol, drugs, or any illegal substances are strictly prohibited.

If you feel unwell or overwhelmed, reach out to the organizing team—we’re here to help.

Respect the physical and digital property of others.


Digital Etiquette

Maintain integrity while using shared digital resources (Wi-Fi, servers, APIs, etc.).

Do not attempt to hack or disrupt the event infrastructure or participants’ devices.

Respect the privacy of others—do not share personal information without consent.


Reporting Issues

If you witness or experience behavior that violates this Code of Conduct, contact the HackSpire organizing team immediately.

Reports will be handled confidentially and taken seriously.

The organizers reserve the right to take appropriate action, including warnings, removal from the event, or disqualification.


Enforcement

The organizing team has the authority to enforce this Code of Conduct.

Violations may result in:

Disqualification from the hackathon.

Removal from the venue.

Reporting to relevant authorities if necessary.


Agreement

By participating in HackSpire 2025, you agree to uphold this Code of Conduct and contribute to making the hackathon a safe, fun, and impactful experience for everyone.
